I didn’t bring a ton of makeup with me back home during my fall break, but that I did, I played with a LOT. This warm, earth-toned looks was my favorite that I did, and not only does it feature my favorite fall eyeshadow palette, but it also feature a different lip color from what I normally opt for that I finally broke out (surprise: I’m now head over heels in love with it)!
For my base I went for what has become my never-fail foundation, the Max Factor Skin Luminizer. It gives a very sheer (but build-able) demi-matte natural finish that was perfect since my skin was behaving itself. To make sure it lasted all day (and night, as I also wore this look to a party later on)I primed my skin with my Smashbox Photo Finish primer. I added some definition to my face with my Too Faced Milk Chocolate and Chocolate Soleil Bronzers, but focused more on adding a natural, warm flush of color on my cheeks with the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Nude Mauve, which has become a new favorite of mine.
To help accentuate the high points of my face, I used my Wet n’ Wild Fergie baked highlighter in Rosé, which creates a lovely and natural peachy-champagne glow. For my eyes, I broke out my Coffee and Poetry eyeshadow quad from Isadora‘s fall collection last year, and patted the deep bronze shade all over my lids, and sweeping a light amount onto most of my lower lash-line. I then took the yellow champagne shade and used it to highlight my inner corners and brow bone then taking the deep plumy-brown shade and blended it into my crease and outter -V with a sparse and fluffy blending brush for a soft, warm look. I topped my lashes off with Maybelline‘s The Rocket.
Last but not least, used the Revlon Colorburst Laquer Balm lip crayon in the shade Coy. I usually shy away brown brown shades, but picked it up this summer to try something a little different. I was very wary about using it… until now. Coy looks rather red-toned in the picture, but it’s far more brown-toned in person. Still beautiful nonetheless. It’s finish is rather glossy and shiny, and is a great lip color not only for everyday use (as a browner MYBB shade) but can also work for the evening time!
