This month, I honestly struggled to find favorite products. I may have used something a lot, but that may have been because it was all I had. I also may have really loved a product, but only managed to wear it once since it was on rotation. But these six products in my November 2015 Favorites were solid loves of mine this month. Let’s take a look at them, shall we?
Urban Decay Naked 3 palette
I dearly, truly adore this palette. It is soft, romantic, warm and really compliments my hair, eyes, and complexion. Not to mention the assortment of tones and finishes makes for a huge array of looks. I had heard so much hype around the quality of UD eyeshadows, and when I first dipped my brush into this palette and set these panned squares of makeup butter on my eyelids… oh, man, I can safely say, my fellow beauty junkies, that the legends are true. And can we talk about the packaging? It’s gorgeous, not to mention the bonus mirror inside! I felt I didn’t pay enough attention to this palette over the past few months it’s been in my collection, so I decided to use it more throughout November and I am so sorry, my dearest Naked 3, that I did not love you enough sooner.
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Another legend that I brought out this month, and man is this stuff all it’s talked up to be! It really did increase the pigmentation and longevity of my shadows, and only require a tiny bit on each lid. The only thing I wish it could have done was to help conceal the veins in my lids and crease a bit more perhaps.
Body Shop Passion Fruit Body Butter
This was given to me by a friend, and while it’s not a very winter-y scent, it smells damn good and has been helping indeed to keep my skin moisturized this month.
Tony Moly Crystal Blusher in #8 Gold Glamour
This was a product I purchased at a Tony Moly shop in Hong Kong this summer, and nearly forgot how amazing it was in the store until this month. It is unbelievably buttery and gives a gorgeous wet sheen to the areas it is applied to. While not at all necessary, I will admit I have gone a little nuts with this product this month. It’s also way different from any other highlighters I have in terms of color, and while it’s called Gold Glamour, I find it to be more of a cool-toned yellow or white gold. Gorgeous nonetheless, and I hope to get more shades because this formula is the bomb.com
Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in 107
Yet another ultra-coveted product in the beauty blogging world, 107 was ideal for my red lip looks this month. It’s color suits just about anything, and the formula is astonishing for the drugstore, and since I’m around classmates nearly 24/7 and don’t always have a mirror on hand, staying power and non-cracking lipsticks are a must, and this formula definitely hits all the marks.
Tom Ford Velvet Orchid
I received this as a Sephora sample, and thought initially that the floral base notes would turn me away from it, but quite the opposite. This is definitely a fall/winter perfume and is very suitable for the night time, but also on those days when you wanna feel a little sexy and feminine (like everyday). I hope to one day add this perfume to my collection, but until that price tag becomes something I can afford, I’ll have but the memory of this scent and how great it makes me feel.
