The Fall Lipstick I’m Bringing Back for Spring 2016

The first lipstick I ever owned was a red one– 111 from Kate Moss‘s Rimmel line to be exact. Reds are appropriate any time of the year, but deep reds are a must for me in the fall and winter months. As of late I’ve hardly sported a lip color that wasn’t pink, but I have finally come around to the trend of dark lip shades this spring.

My chosen revival is none other that the Kate Moss matte lipstick in shade 107. A beautiful red berry shade, 107 is sure to make you look bold, and with this spring’s theme of white tops, it’s sure to add a bit of edge to an otherwise innocent look. This lipstick is a long-time favorite in the beauty world- it’s even Zoella‘s favorite red lipstick! It’s a budget buy, long lasting and suits so many skin tones, be you as fair as me or on the deepest end of the spectrum.

Today, I paired it with a very simple, shimmery champagne eye, nice clean brows, and a nude-pink blush from Tarte. The bold color works really well with my white and black color-block sweater which has been a staple in my wardrobe since I bought it last year.

If you don’t already have Rimmel 107 in your collection, I suggest you gather your spare change and run out to your local Rimmel-retailer and purchase this beauty!
